Online shopping has never been easy here in Saudi Arabia. Yeah I admit, when it comes to shopping I tend to be very impulsive without thinking twice whether to buy this or that. When I was in Philippines, I always browse online (multiply.com) for beauty products and use my Paypal account to pay for that and it sucks because sometimes Paypal can be annoying and going to bank to pay for the amount is quite tiring also. I just wish there's an COD in Philippines so that its more comfortable and easy to shop online!

Anyhow, we "sisters" aka Nurse here in Saudi our only relax time and fun time is to browse and shop online because after a tiring duty all you want to do is to relax and sometimes think go shopping (?). Where we are staying is way too far from our current civilization compared to Jeddah, Riyadh and Makkah you can go outside without wearing face mask and enjoy your shopping day but here its so sad that every time we go out its a must that we wear our face mask. Also, the sad part, we don't have malls in here! :( We do have small stores and the brands that they sell are not known. Until one day, I discovered this online shop called "sukar.com" which the items are from Turkey but I did not purchase yet because I was holding back myself and told myself that, "no, you shouldn't shop online but instead save your salary" but I just can't help it. I ordered bags, watches and etc. The website does offer flash sale which means items are quickly sold out because of the low prizes. I bumped in to another website called, "namshi.com" which is based from Dubai, UAE and the very good part is COD. How cool is that?! So in this website I bought my very first 2 pairs of slip-on shoes because aside from the fact that they come in true to size, its also affordable!

V-Day Giveaway

Dream Catcher Necklace

Hooray! Second blogpost for August 2. I really don't post that much because I'm lazy when it comes to drafting but I feel like this month is full of energy and I want to update my blog as much as possible because I know when I already have work I will not be able to blog as much as I can so I'm enjoying every single day that is left while still here in Philippines.

Anyhow, this post is all about fashion accessories that is quite in the trend and this is called Dream catcher. So what is dream catcher? Dream catchers are one of the most fascinating traditions of Native Americans. The traditional dream catcher was intended to protect the sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The positive dreams would slip through the hole in the center of the dream catcher, and glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. I saw this dream catcher from Rhea Bue, fashionista from the South (Zamboanga City)and I tell you she's my current fave fashion blogger because I just like her style, just can't explain how I want to be with her during her photo-shoot. Usually, real techniques brushes ranges from 600+ to 800+ but the powder brush I bought from them was only 550, very much affordable! Another item that I really want to have is the Krave Minerale's Oil Eliminator. Ever since this came out and read good reviews on it, I told myself that I should give it a try because I have really oily skin I need a product that will lessen oil production all throughout the day. These already came but I have it delivered at my cousin's address because I will be bringing these with me this August 15 going to Saudi Arabia.

[Guest Post] Fashion Do’s and Don’ts during the Rainy Season

The rainy season shouldn’t stop you from being in style! There are things you can only wear during this season that will look fashionable so take advantage of it! Before you head out and brace the storm in style, here are some fashion do’s and don’ts you need to remember.

• Do wear bright colored clothes. The rainy season is a gloomy season. Bring life to your ensemble by wearing bright colored tops or jackets. Have fun with red, yellow, orange, pink, and other attractive colors! Eye-popping rainy day accessories like scarves and shawls will also add the striking contrast you need in your wardrobe. 

• Don’t wear white pants. Put your white pants on closet arrest during the rainy season. Unless you’re going for a muddy splatter-filled look, white pants do not belong to this season’s fashion. With pools of water everywhere you go, you’ll only stain your white pants if you decide to wear them. Don’t risk it. The hassle of removing mud stain is not worth your time and effort if you could’ve otherwise avoided it. 

• Do wear boots. Rainy season is the only time of the year when boots get the spotlight. There are a lot of cool fashionable boots you can wear while weathering the storm in style. Jelly rain boots come in different quirky colors that can spice up your look! If you really want to be protected and still look trendy, go for edgy platform boots. 

• Don’t wear heavy clothing. You will most likely get wet during the rainy season. The last thing you want is to be soaked in heavy clothes that will take a long time to dry. As much as possible, avoid wearing jeans most especially when you know you’ll walk through some flooded areas. But if you’re a true-blue jeans person, you can fold it until just below the knee like capri pants. You’ll still look fashionable without sacrificing the practicality of your outfit. 

• Do keep a classic trench coat. You’ll never go wrong with a trench coat during the rainy season. You can go bold with bright attractive trench coats or go classy with black or earth colors. Either way, it’s an essential and perfect rainy season wear that should be a staple in your closet. In addition, if you’re mulling over the length of your trench coat, go for short ones—those that extend just within knee length or a little over above it. A full body trench coat will be heavy on the bottom part when it gets wet. 

• Don’t use material that won’t survive the rain. It’s suicide to wear suede when it rains. Your suede shoes and bags will most likely be ruined. Leather is not water-proof. Unless you put a protectant on your leather shoes, then that’s the only time you can wear them. You can be chic without putting your valuable shoes and bag at risk of wear-and-tear. Try other materials like rubber or pleather (i.e. plastic leather) which can be fashionable, too! Fashion knows no season. You can face the rainy season with a trendy mix and still be practical at the same time. Don’t be afraid to dress up during drizzle days! It’s fun to explore different clothes and layers that will keep you warm and make you look stylish at the same time.

NYX BLL Pumpkin Pie Review

I've always been looking for coral lipstick ever since I got hooked into makeup. I love anything that is coral especially orange. Orange is my favorite color of all the colors out there. And I know that in some parts of the world, orange is always in trend during summer season just like last year and this year where this orange ruled again. I don't know what's really in color orange but it really attracts me. Let me tell you why I love orange.

Back when I was in Manila, I was sent products by Dee Tan, owner of Skye Avenue. Dee sent me 4 items to review and so far I've only review the NYX Xtreme Lip Cream review out of the 4 items she sent me. Finally, I will be reviewing NYX's black label lipstick in the shade of Pumpkin Pie.

Krave Minerale Haul

I finally gave in to Krave Minerale products. I'm really not a fan of mineral or organic products because I have this feeling that it won't really work that well. But I've heard some feedback that mineral is actually good for your skin because there are not much of chemicals as part of the ingredients and it also let your skin breathe. I already have mineral products that I won from Sara Hassan's Blog that was sponsored by Mineralissima but I haven't use them yet. The reason also why I don't like mineral products is that its too messy when using them, they get all over the place which is for me a waste of product.

Last week I just woke up and had this urge to buy skin care products but I don't know which one to try. I browsed Krave's Fan Page in facebook and read lots of reviews about there products telling this and that. I really want to convince myself from what I read but NO, I still search and read more about Krave's products and when I'm finally convinced, that's the time I will buy. *The perks of having Paypal*

I have combi/oily, sensitive skin which is why the reason that when I buy skin care of makeup products, I want to make sure that it'll last on me and not just throw it away with few use because of allergic reactions. I admit that sometimes when my impulsiveness overlap my ego I can't stop myself but really need to buy that certain product. I want a skincare product that I can say it's my HG and the one I'll keep on buying because of best result. So I went to Skye Avenue online shop on multiply and bought my two Krave Minerale products which are Cupine Aloepa facial wash and Antizit Splash toner. Loafers Love

We all love shoes and some of us girls love to collect shoes, right?

I do love shoes but not to the point where I do get obsess to it. I mean its not every week or month that I get to buy new pair of shoes just because sometimes I love to wear flip flops because its much easier to put on. In some point, I have this crazy cravings for LOAFERS!

I don't know why but ever since it came out I have this eagerness to buy a pair of loafers. I know it just a pair of doll shoes but for me its not.
There's a touch of masculine on them but its something that girls can rock on.

I love to browse online because I get to know new trends and what the likes but everytime I go browse and have this intense impulsive buying specially when my Paypal has fund, I go crazy with what to buy and all that. When it comes to browsing online, I always go to multiply because its the best site to go. So yah, back to SO!Fab and CMG I saw these shoes from SO!Fab yesterday and was really envy of these loafers.

So I have this giveaway running on my YouTube giveaway for 2 months now but noticed that there weren't a lot of participants joining and to think it is open international. I though it would be a good idea to move this giveaway from YouTube to a blog giveaway so that my readers can join for those who doesn't have YouTube account.

As you can see its title, Farewell Giveaway. Yes farewell because I know that by July I will no longer be here in Philippines and will be flying to other country, Saudi Arabia, which is not new to me because I was born in Saudi, specifically in Jeddah but the city where I am going to be assigned is pretty new to me because I've never been there. I've only been to Mecca (Holy Place) and Madina. New life, new challenges all new as I have to face these on my own. My co-bloggers, whom I treat a real life friends also know that I am bound to fly to Saudi and I'm so lucky because they support and encourage me, give words of wisdom that no matter where I am they will always be there for me. Thanks for this technology and social media websites for I can keep in touch with them even though I'm miles away from them.
