Loafers Love

Hello lovelies! How's your day? I hope you keep your entries coming for my farewell giveaway which I posted on June 17, if I'm not mistaken. If you haven't join that giveaway yet, please click here to join and get a chance to win cool items for FREE!

We all love shoes and some of us girls love to collect shoes, right?
I do love shoes but not to the point where I do get obsess to it. I mean its not every week or month that I get to buy new pair of shoes just because sometimes I love to wear flip flops because its much easier to put on. In some point, I have this crazy cravings for LOAFERS!
I don't know why but ever since it came out I have this eagerness to buy a pair of loafers. I know it just a pair of doll shoes but for me its not.
There's a touch of masculine on them but its something that girls can rock on.

I've been browsing SO!Fab and CMG's website yesterday and tonight.
I love to browse online because I get to know new trends and what the likes but everytime I go browse and have this intense impulsive buying specially when my Paypal has fund, I go crazy with what to buy and all that. When it comes to browsing online, I always go to multiply because its the best site to go. So yah, back to SO!Fab and CMG I saw these shoes from SO!Fab yesterday and was really envy of these loafers.

Arm Candies

One of the few things a girl should have are accessories. We all need accessories to dress down or dress up our outfit. Men and women have different taste when it comes to accessories "obviously" but for us girls we tend to be choosy when choosing our accessories. Some may like dainty pieces, others may like big, chunky pieces and if I'm not mistaken other girls would prefer one piece of accessory.

So my friend came up with an idea of showing some pieces she hand made because she's an artsy crafty one and she likes to make all these accessories because she's a happy camper!

So that are some of the pieces she made. My friend's name is Star and she's thinking of opening her online shop if only people will like her idea. If you think Star should open her online store, please leave a comment below if it's a YES or NO so she can decide. :)

5 Summer Must Haves

Summer is finally here, that means longer summer nights and vacations! Every summer we see different trends that we must follow. Fashion has not let us down, it’s a bold, bright and boho kind of summer. Don’t let your closet down this summer and pickup these 5 must haves:

The Maxi Skirt: Whether you have been playing on Pinterest or perusing the magazine racks for celebrity looks, the Maxi Skirt is everywhere! Not only is extremely comfortable and great summer night option, the long flowy skirt fits any body type. What is great about the Maxi Skirt, you can find it at any store in any color and at reasonable prices. Pair this skirt with a fitted top and some sandals and you are set to go!
Neon: We all laugh at the photos from the 80’s but I wouldn't laugh too long. The 80’s having slowly been making a comeback and they aren’t leaving any time soon. Leave your scruchies at home and focus on the colors. Anything and everything neon is back and bolder than ever. Look for neon nail polish, summer scarfs, magenta lipsticks, shorts and tops. The key is not too overdue it, allow one accessory or item of clothing be the neon.

Cross Body Handbags: Wasn't it just yesterday we were all putting away the cross body handbags under the bed? Bust them back out, this summer this look is easy and comfortable. What is so fun about this look, it’s casual and can go anywhere. Pick bold colors or stick to the neutrals. You can’t go wrong with a cross body handbag.

Crochet: Hello boho chic! Crochet is Lace’s long lost cousin and she is staying all summer long. Almost every store is carrying a crochet piece of some kind. You can find a lot of beach cover ups and cute tops in this lightweight but eye catching pattern. What is fun about this look is that you can wear color, pattern or style of tank underneath to really show your own personal style.
Chunky jewelry: Remember when it comes to jewelry this summer, less is more. Chunky is in. The key is to have one piece of jewelry act as your chunky piece. If you choose a chunky necklace make sure your earrings and bracelet are less noticeable. It’s all about the statement piece! Have fun with it and find something neon.

Enjoy this summer with a casual, bright and hippie vibe. Grab a few of these must haves and have fun with it. The summer is all about letting go and having the time of your life, let your wardrobe and style reflect that. Who knew summer could be so cool!

Five Fashion Trends This Rainy Season

Summer is almost over and before you know it, school has already begun. Soon enough, home works and research papers will replace your time allotted for spontaneous beach trips and random hangouts in your friend's house. Here in the Philippines, despite having the "Endless Summer" type of temperature that we have always been accustomed to, we cannot discount the fact that as the end of May approaches, the rainy season also begins. It has always been easy in summer: slip into something sleeveless and distressed shorts, and you're good to go. But how do you stay fashionable in the rainy season?

FashionProtective gear
Carry protective gear. This is one of the old man's tales. Bring an umbrella with you wherever you go. Nobody wants to be drenched in the rain just before you run for your next class. You wouldn't want to burn your skin while doing errands for your sick boss. In a country like the Philippines where the whether is rather deemed as unpredictable, everyone should always carry a foldable umbrella with them. You can also bring a cute raingear if you find it taxing to hold an umbrella. Rain gears aren't for kindergarteners alone anymore. Find one that suits your personality and age. You might find the SpongeBob Square pants-inspired really cute but your officemates might simply be annoyed.

Wear shorts, skirts, capris. People usually wear jeans during the rainy season but few realize that the hem of their pants gets soaked in the rainwater, and the water even goes up the garment. So why don't you try wearing something whose hem does not fall to the ground like shorts, skirts, or capris? Just be sure to wear something covered for the top to keep it classy and decent.
Evironsax

Bring waterproof bags.
Just because leather bags are made of leather doesn't mean you can use them at any given time and weather. During this season, opt for something more practical such as nylon totes. You may also want to stash in some ziplock bags just in case you need a place to put your mobile phones, wallets or other gadgets for more protection.

Wear light makeup. Whether it be the rainy season or the dry season, it is always better to wear light or no makeup unless necessary. Bacteria are easier to multiply in wet season that is why you should always keep your brushes clean and avoid too much contact between your hands and face.

Rain BootsWear fashionable boots. Of course, you don't want to soak
those Torys in the rain or mud. So why don't you slip on something as fashionable like boots? Flip flops aren't always law-abiding when it comes to school or office dress codes and no matter how comfortable they are, you will never look good in them unless you are at the beach. Flip flops are also a choice of many who are commuting but don't you think it is much better to wear boots and save yourself from all the trouble and worry that you might have stepped into an animal's pee or something? True enough, your feet are the most abused part of the human body so protect it and take extra care of it.
Rain is often associated with depression, lethargy and tardiness but it doesn't mean that you have to be depressed, lethargic and lazy during this time. You always have to bear in mind that you can always be sunny even in the midst of the rainy season, and this will begin in the way you perceive yourself, and how you project yourself to others. The rainy season should not rob you the opportunity chance to be fashionable and to enjoy the season. To top it all, always carry with you a cheery personality and a warm smile as if to say, "No, rain, you can't bring me down."

Cosmetologie 2012 Experience: Day 1

Since I started blogging I never had the chance to attend any special events like any beauty bloggers had. I always want to attend events related to what I blog because in that way I can learn new trends and some do's and dont's and also to socialize with other people. The main reason why I can't attend to any events is because of my location which is I'm located to the last Island of the Map of the Philippines-Mindanao but I am proud to be Mindanaonon.

I've been here in Quezon City for 1 month and 15 days  and so far my stay here is pretty doing good because I can process some of the essential papers that I need to do. I am so happy that I got the chance to attend this year's Cosmetologie plus I finally met my co-beauty bloggers which is also the reason why I want to attend these special events because of them. Find out who I met in this year's Cosmetologie Event.

Top 4 Fashionistas

Hey everyone!  Pardon me if I'm missing out here in my blog and hope you won't get tired of checking my blog. I have pending posts and I still have to take photos of the products that needs to be uploaded in my new blog post which will probably be posted next week or this weekend. I missed blogging and this is the only hobby that I love to do aside from tweeting and tumblogging

So anyway, I'm just going to talk about the 4 fashionistas I love to check the most because every time they have a new post, I never fail to check them out. In fact, they are in my blogroll so that i'll never miss out new posts from them. I'm not a fashionista person nor a makeup professional but every time I read blog that it's all about fashion, I come to think of what if I do it like her style and etc. I just love how they mix and match and everything from plain to print, from head to toe and everything!

First of is Dulce Tejeda or known as Dulce Candy both on YouTube and web because of her feminine style. Dulce always dreamt of being a school teacher. Now 24 years later she teaches millions of followers on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter her beauty and fashion secrets. With currently over 100 million views on YouTube, Dulce Candy has become one of the top fashion and beauty icons for the social media generation. Dulce Candy accredits her independence and strength as a woman to her experience in the Army. In 2006, as a personal challenge to herself, Dulce impulsively decided to join the army working as a Mechanic. Although her experience in the Army was a positive and rewarding one, Dulce found herself becoming very defeminized; wearing the same uniform day in and day out and not being able to display or express her passion for fashion. It was finally in 2008 when she quickly discovered that the internet was a tremendous outlet for her to express her femininity and love of fashion. One evening, Dulce came home from a long day at work took off her uniform, turned on the camera, and just began talking about nothing other than girl stuff; makeup, fashion, and shopping.   Consequently the phenomenon we now know as Dulce Candy was created.

Secondly, Wendy also know as  Wendyslookbook both on YouTube and her Fashion Blog.   Wendy find inspiration in art, nature, culture, architecture, food, people, and music. And for me, fashion is a compilation of all that. Fashion is a vehicle for me to play with shapes and colors in order to uncover my personal style. Even though I’m inspired by images I see on the runways, I’m more captivated by images I see on the streets. Like music and art, fashion and style are forms of creative self-expression, where each of us are architects creating unique designs and looks.. Throughout my sophomore to senior year in college, I volunteered as a counselor at the Berkeley Free Clinic providing mental health services to the homeless community and also as a visiting teacher at Harding Elementary working with underprivileged students.  After college, I continued to work with marginalized communities, mainly as an educator.  I volunteered at the San Francisco Juvenile Detention Center, working with incarcerated youths in the maximum security unit, for over a year and a half.   Most of these youths, like me, were from broken homes and/or foster care.  I taught the high school curriculum with the goal of helping these youths pass the high school exit exam, so they’ll have a second chance in life once they leave juvenile hall.

Camille Co would have to be one of my favorite fashion/stylist blogger of all the fashion bloggers in Philippines. I simply love her style, her beautiful face, her cute voice. I once heard her voice in one of the videos I've watched and it's so cute! Camille Co is a full Chinese and a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University last 2009. She's the owner and designer of Coexist a young, high-street RTW line for women.

Here's my last fave fashion/stylist blogger, Kryz Uy. I'm not sure if she's Cebuana or not but either way I like her. Those smiles are just so beautiful and her petite size. Kryz is a graduate of Ateneo too and she's a Freelance Stylist, Freelance Writer and an occasional model. Don't you just like that smile that brightens up your day?Well, I do! ☺

So you've read my Top 4 Fashionistas- 2 from California and 2 from Philippines. I want to meet these ladies and have picture with them. These ladies are my inspiration in life and I may not become like their body sizes, rest assured I will pursue and work hard so that I can be successful as they are now.

GOLD MESH SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL CLUTCH

I love how this one came out! I know it's simple but at the same way it looks very elegant.i only added earrings and ring just because I want the attention to be on the dress only. The clutch is precious because it is made by Swarovski crystals.

Cardigan Zebra Print

This is my second post for this day just because I know I've been MIA here in blogger and I want to catch up in blogging too.

I love cardigan especially with prints on well solid colors well work too. I have 3 in colors black, violet and gray. Cardigans are versatile where you can use them when its raining or when you just want to spice up your outfit. ☺

Zebra Print Cardigan Long Sleeve
Don't you just love this cardigan in zebra print? Oh how I wish I can have one. I like how it gives that pop of color (orange) and you may not know how obsessed I am in color orange. Plain tank top, cardigan, black jeans, wedges and you're good to go. I jut added accessories to spice up this outfit like the bangles and bracelets and ring also this long necklace.

That Red Checkered Top ♥

Hello lovely readers! Its been months since I posted an outfit from looklet just because sometimes I get lazy customizing or creating my own outfit using this website. But today I have 3 new looklet outfits I have created awhile ago.

This outfits are just few of the inspirations I got or read from youtube like watching my all time favorite Fashion YouTuber Wendy of http://wendyslookbook.com. She has inspired me to create some of these looks and just awhile ago I watched her video the one entitled "A Dream Come True - Tibi Show" where the fashion show was in held in New York and she met her fashion icon designer Tibi. Not only Wendy is my favorite but also there are 3 filipina fashion designers that I look up to and these are Camille Co, Laureen Uy, and Kryz Uy. These 3 are my fave fashion designers that I always check out everytime they have a new blog post.

Moving on to my blog post, here is the first outfit I have created and you can tell by in the title itself that its all about this red checkered top. Read on...

Friis & Company Case Earrings | Tommy Hilfiger Wyoming Check Shirt
Mulberry Handbag East West Bayswater in Black Natural Leather | Levi's Curve ID Modern Slight Curve Skinny Jeans | Schuh Tauro Metal Heel Court High Heels
This one is good for casual days or even you can wear this when you want to have dinner or lunch or hang out with your friends. The one I love in this outfit is the red checkered top. I don't know about you girls but checkered, vertical and horizontal stripes are my style and tops with collars really catches my attention simply because they look formal and more casual.

Martino Gray Satchel ♥

Hey girls! Sorry for being MIA here in blogger. My review just started and I have to catch up because I am one month late but it's ok, Imma have to read notes on what they have discussed one month ago.

So this post is overdue because I am supposed to blog this the moment I got them but time comes when you really get lazy to blog because you have to picture it and everything. I decided to get a picture of this satchel online because I really want to blog about this bag of mine. I have been eyeing this and wanting this for a long time and when we were in Manila, I really did grab the chance to get this and fortunately I did. I bought this one at Cole Vintage Robinsons Ermita for Php1099. I know this aint the real satchel but it depends on how you carry the and style the bag. ☺

Cole Vintage
Martino Gray

Details: A very trendy satchel bag perfect for everyday use. It includes a buckle fastening, long line adjustable strap and magnetic closure.

Fit & Sizing: Width 33cm Height 25.5cm Depth 9cm

Price: Php 1099

Store: Cole Vintage

I Like:
  • its perfect for everyday use, well for those who go to school
  • the magnetic button is very useful for you don't have to manually close it
  • the long and adjustable strap
  • its wide and have compartments
  • its affordable for a replica satchel
I don't like:
  • you really have to be careful when using this one because you dont want the marks of folds to stay there (like the wrinkles)
So I guess that concludes my idea about this bag. If you were to ask me, I would absolutely buy one or more satchel even though its not the original one from UK.

I'm giving it, 4.5/5 stars.

Fashion # 4:Hotpink and Black

I've always been loving these 2 colors in black and hotpink. Black is a multiuse and can be paired with any colors and for me I love to pair it up with bright color so that it will have a nice combination plus black can make the chubby girls look small and slim that's why I love black. So for my outfit of the day I have these two colors which I love. My black veil and my black huge shoulder bag from Mango.

Darn that line from the mirror!

I love this lipstick on my lips. Darn that eyebags, but I think it looks cute though.

whole view of my outfit.Look how bright this teeshirt I'm wearing.

Isn't this bag too big?

What's with that pose?Lol

My Mango bag that I got from my Tita♥
