Simple Hair and Makeup For Valentine's Day

First of all I would like to greet you all of you a Happy Valentine's Day! <3

Here's the tutorial I made specially for this day and sorry for posting this so late just because I have some matters to take care off but the video was already uploaded last week and kept it as private video because I want it be seen by all this day. So any how here are some pictures I took and please don't mind the music background of the video ^__^.

I've created this well it looks simple to me because there are no bright, vibrant shades that I've used for this look except that it's all shimmery because I used the metallica palette I have. There are tons of eyeshadows from the palette but I decided to play around with pink hues just because Valentine's is all about pinks and reds so I just go with the flow. I hope you all like this makeup tutorial that I came up with.

Tutorial: Soft Sultry Look

I came up with this soft sultry look that maybe wear for everyday basis. Its basically a very settle eye makeup look and I use browns for those who are not into bright/deep/bold colors. I myself don't like bright/deep eyeshadows except for lipstick or lipgloss because I personally like wearing bright lip colors it is because on a daily basis I really don't wear makeup at all neither a foundation. I just groom my eyebrows, apply eyeliner, put on lipstick, bright lip color in particular to brighten up my look so that it won't look that flat then I'm good to go. It's very much comfortable to do and it lets your skin breathes from all the chemicals you apply on your face.

Tutorial: New Year's Eve Makeup

Hey everyone! New Year is just around the corner. I can't imagine how time flies so fast. I just want to thank everyone who supported my blog all throughout this 2011. I'm enjoying what I am doing and that is to blog everything about beauty, tutorials, reviews and etc. I may not be a professional makeup artist but I feel that somehow I can help others through my blogposts or video tutorials. 2011 has been indeed a very good year for me because I met my fave pinay beauty guru, which I believe the rising makeup guru here in Philippines and that is no other than Lindsay Tioco Artillero (click to visit her blog). I really treasure that day when I finally met her because she's really pretty in and out and she does a great makeup tutorial too. I've been a fan of her eversince I saw her from Judy's meet and greet last year and from that moment on, I stood up on her, she became my inspiration to keep on blogging and even started to upload makeup tutorials on YouTube too. I was with her when she's struggling on her eyebrows until this point where she has improved a lot.

So much for my drama mode and let's go to the point where I am going to show you how I created this NYE makeup tutorial.

Tutorial: How I do my Eyebrows

Hey my loves! Do you have thick or thin eyebrows? For me, I used to have thick eyebrows like almost becoming unibrow because of the thickness. But last year I started plucking my eyebrows because I get jealous of those girls having beautiful arched eyebrows. At first pluck it was way too painful and I can see the redness where I plucked because its first time and it was not actually me who first pluck my eyebrows because I still don't know how to do so like where to pluck and etc. As time passed by, I learned by myself to pluck them without any assistance from others and I even pluck my sisters' eyebrows.

So in this post I am going to show you how I do my eyebrows on a daily basis. How I do mine is completely different from others because we all have our different preference on how we like to do our eyebrows. I do mine nothing special and it's how I'm comfortable with it. :) 

Beyonce's Party MV Inspired Look

I've always been a fan of Beyonce ever since she started her singing career and I adore her personality because she's down to earth even though she's a stunning music icon. Now that's she's pregnant, I can imagine her daughter/son being into music to not to mention that Jay-Z is a rapper so I bet their baby will have that talent too.

I was really captivated by the looks she had on her new music video called Party. She has lots of makeup looks that I screened captured but there's this one that I was inspired to do. My first time to put on heavy gel liner just for this makeup look but nonetheless I enjoyed doing it. I find it funny how my eyes looked more smaller because of the winged eyeliner but the pop of color and the hotpink lip color what   made the look stand out and maybe that's the reason why I was inspired to do so.

Neutral Everyday Look

Hello darlings! Second day of November and I can say how time flies so fast. I was thinking of what could be a nice makeup look that could be worn everyday something that is not all browns but the look that has mix of other color. So yesterday I've decided to create my own look and pretty much very easy to achieve. I used some pastel colors to make the look achievable and not so obvious not until you look at it closely.
